Matthew McConaughey surprised Houston police officers and firefighters with lunch on Sunday. McConaughey teamed up with Wild Turkey to bring officers turkey and bourbon for First Responders Day.
"I was happy to join Matthew McConaughey and Wild Turkey to surprise some Houston Police, Fire and 911 dispatchers. Matthew thanked them for their service each day, and especially during Harvey," Mayor Sylvester Turner said in a Facebook post.
The mayor posted a Facebook Live of the event. McConaughey said it was a pleasure to honor first responders, and he praised the departments for their hard work during Hurricane Harvey in 2017.
