10 players suspended due to inappropriate actions after football game

Posted

The Palo Alto Middle School head football coach was put on administrative leave due him and his team behaving inappropriately at a game this week.

According to Killeen ISD, there was a great deal of bad sportsmanship, verbally abusive behavior and a number of penalties from the referees to the team and coach.

As a result, 10 football players from the team are suspended for the next game and head coach Nicholas Parker has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the Killeen ISD investigation. Three players were dismissed from the team completely.

Superintendent John Craft has made clear that this type of behavior has no place in our schools and said that he had better not hear of anything like this ever happening again.
