The Williamson County’s Emergency Management Office will provide free water to residents who live in the portion of Austin that is part of the county.

According to the Austin American-Statesman, the water distribution site at Round Rock school district’s Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex will allow residents to put up water.

Starting Wednesday from 7 a.m.- 7 p.m. daily, the center will remain in place until the water boil notice is lifted. The center will be closed on Fridays.

There are approximately 80,000 Williamson County residents that are Austin Water customers, according to Connie Odom, a county spokeswoman.

The Williamson County commissioners issued a disaster declaration. The declaration calls for a distribution point for providing water to county residents under the water boil notice.
