A bench, stone marker, and beautiful new tree now stand in Beall Park in loving memory of Kenneth Ferrell.
Ferrell, 75, was struck and killed by a car while crossing 13th Street in Beltonlast month.
This week, by the contribution of an anonymous donor, his memory lives on.
His stone marker reading "smiling and speaking to all people is a way of showing love to them" which captures the essence of what Ferrell's family discussed during the tree planting ceremony, that Kenny loved God, people and the City of Belton.
