We closed out your Wednesday on another hot and humid note. Are we sure it's Fall?
We topped out in the upper 80s and low 90s for most, feeling even a few degrees warmer thanks to our dewpoints in the 60s and 70s.
We'll have to watch for the development of patchy fog, once again, this morning...mainly in the southeast. Clearing skies and lots of sunshine is expected for this afternoon. High temperatures will soar into the low 90s.
A couple of storms will be possible tomorrow afternoon and evening mainly in the Brazos Valley, but a couple might try to sneak into our other counties just to the north. We'll be monitoring!
A few more showers and storms will be possible this weekend, mainly during the afternoon hours. Overall severe weather threat looks low.
A large storm system will be setting up in West Texas. This is where severe weather chances look a little better.
Rain chances increase by Tuesday of next week. A couple of strong storms can't be ruled out. We'll let you know if any changes are made to the forecast regarding those severe weather chances. The mid-80s look likely by the end of the next week!
