A Temple man was arrested over the weekend for the aggravated sexual assault of a child.
The victim was first interviewed on July 19. According to the arrest affidavit, the suspect would pick her up from her home and take her to visit a friend. On the way to the friend's house, the suspect would make a stop at his own home. The girl said the suspect would take off her pants and then his own before touching her "private spot" with his "private spot."
The victim said the assault began when she was in the first or second grade. It continued until she was in the fourth grade.
According to the arrest affidavit, the victim was born in 2008. The suspect, identified as Joesph Hill, was born in 1971.
Investigators interviewed Hill, who confirmed where he lived between 1997-2017. This location was known to the victim.
Hill was arrested on Sept. 30 on a charge of aggravated assault of a child. His bond was set at $150,000.
