The Burnet Police Department released an announcement of a rabid skunk and fox found on Wednesday.
According to Burnet police, a rabid fox was found on the 900 block of Hamilton Creek Drive on Wednesday.
It was also reported that on Sept. 21, there was a rabid skunk found in a parking lot at 108 South Water Street. The skunk was found at approximately 10:35 a.m.
The skunk was tested by the Department of State and Health Services and was found positive for rabies.
