A rattlesnake was found hiding under a vehicle at a shopping center in Beaumont on Monday.
Gary Saurage, the owner of Gator Country, was dispatched to deal with the timber rattlesnake that was found at the Target parking lot.
“It’s an incredible story, a 5-foot rattlesnake in the Target parking lot in Beaumont, Texas. It’s an unbelievable story,” Gary Saurage said.
Timber rattlesnakes are a species of venomous pit viper endemic known to the eastern United States. They are typically found in southeast Texas.
