The Teague and Fairfield Fire Departments assisted Dew Fire in a brush fire on Thursday.
According to the Facebook post, the fire was a two-acre brush fire that happened near FM 1848.
The fire was caused by a brush pile that got out of control. They asked residents to be careful while burning.
It was the first fire for Brush 99.
