The Hewitt City Council voted to replace the city's attorney Charles Buenger during a special meeting on Tuesday.
The meeting was called to discuss the city's legal services.
The city council voted 4 to 2 to replace Buenger. Hewitt City Manager Adam Miles was given 24 hours to contact a new attorney.
