Officers have arrested a suspect after a pursuit ended in a Waco neighborhood.
Waco police said that it happened just after 10 a.m. near 26th and Speight.
Waco police said that officers were trying to conduct a traffic stop on a reportedly stolen car when a suspect led them on a chase. The pursuit ended in the area and the 15-year-old suspect fled on foot.
Police and K9s are searching the area for the suspect. The suspect was arrested just after 11:30 a.m.
Residents living between 26th and Speight; 27th and Baylor were being asked to stay in their homes.
The identity of the teen will not be released.
