The Baylor University Police Department is investigating a report of a sexual assault during the university's first week of classes.
The sexual assault reportedly occurred on Thursday, August 23 on campus near the area of the North Russell Resident Hall and the Dutton Parking Garage between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.
The victim reported that the suspect walked up to her, grabbed her by the wrist and assaulted her. The suspect then ran away.
Baylor police said they are trying to confirm details of the incident.
