Kathy Krakowian, the wife of former Hewitt City Councilman Kurt Krakowian, announced her candidacy for Hewitt City Council on Tuesday.
According to Kathy, she plans to run a positive campaign and treat all she encounters with the utmost respect.
Kurt Krakowian resigned from the Hewitt City Council on July 13. He said in a statement that a “frivolous complaint” had been filed against him, which led to his resignation.
In Kathy’s Facebook post, she said her husband was on the city council, but she is her own person with her own thoughts and opinions. She said she will not allow herself to be drawn into any drama.
Kathy is set to run for the Hewitt City Council, At-Large seat.
