Posted

Temple police are asking people to lock up their vehicles due to a high number of stolen vehicle reports.

According to Temple police, between June 1 – Aug. 9, 33 vehicles have been reported stolen in the city. They said leaving a door unlocked, unattended and running is never a good idea.

All the vehicles that were stolen had a spare key hidden inside.

Temple police are urging people to not keep spare keys hidden inside and to not leave your vehicle unlocked.
