The Bears for Leadership Reform urged the Baylor Administration and Board of Regents to change their course to bring an end to the sexual assault scandal.

The BLR said they want the board to “come clean” about all the board actions in the Pepper Hamilton report that happened in 2016.

“Other universities have been able to move forward by telling the whole truth and then taking steps to make sure something like this could never happen again,” said John Eddie Williams, BLR President and namesake of the field at Baylor’s McLane Stadium.

The BLR is not criticizing the Board of Regents but wants to give them and the new president an opportunity to be more transparent and accountable.

They said they believe the board and the university are not being honest.

Once the details of the investigation are released, BLR is also calling for resignations of all board members involved in handling the sexual assault scandal.
