McLennan County Sheriff's Deputies have arrested a 51-year-old woman for harassment after she repeatedly called her ex-boyfriend's girlfriend saying her children had been shot.
According to the arrest affidavit, Barbara Miller called the victim in a disguised voice and said "It is the local McLennan County Sheriff Department, I am calling about your two children. You need to call us ASAP there has been a shooting at your home and there have been some fatalities. Yes, you need to call us ASAP, do you hear me?" In another message, Miller said "This is involving your children, honey. Your ex-husband has killed them."
The affidavit said Miller left more messages where she was not disguising her voice that were "disturbing" and "hateful."
When detectives spoke with Miller, she admitted to leaving the voicemails, stating she was drunk at the time.
Miller was charged with harassment and taken to the McLennan County Jail.
