Killeen ISD is set to hold on-campus registration on Wednesday and Thursday for the upcoming school year.

On-campus registration is from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. for parents and students who have not already completed enrollment forms for the new school year.

Killeen ISD expects to have a record-high student enrollment for the 2018-19 year of nearly 45,000 students, according to the Chief Communications Officer Terry Abbott.

Students enrolling on campus will need to show:

  • Current proof of residency within KISD (such as a utility bill or lease contract)
  • A certified birth certificate
  • Immunization records
  • A Social Security card
  • A report card or records from the student’s previous school

Parents of students who are new to Killeen ISD can complete the required back-to-school forms online, and then visit their student’s home campus for finalization.

"The longer they wait, the more of a chance they would risk of a student being here on the first day of school and sitting around, not having any class assignments or anything because they're not in the system yet. So, it's better to do it now," said Abbott.

For any additional questions, parents can call their child’s school for more information.

Open registration will be held again on Thursday all KISD campuses from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
