Police arrest two suspects believed to be involved in string of robberies

Two suspects are in custody following a string of robberies in Waco Thursday. 

Waco police said that on Thursday morning at 8:30 a.m., officers responded to the scene of a robbery of the Alon Gas Station on Waco Drive. Police said that the suspect had entered the store and indicated he had a gun. 

At 11:30 a.m., police responded to a robbery at the Family Dollar located at 624 East Waco Drive. The suspect had entered the store and alluded to have a gun. 

Police then responded to a robbery at Mama's and Papa's BBQ on 8th Street and Clay. Police arrived on the scene and took one suspect into custody. A second custody fled on foot. 

The second suspect entered a vacant home on the 900 block of 10th St. After the suspect refused to exit the home, police used a K9 to bring the suspect in custody. 

No other details were released.
