Multiple departments try to put out fire in Bosque County

Several fire departments are working to put out a fire near State Highway 22 in Bosque County. 

Bosque County Emergency Management said the fire, called the Greenwade Fire, is near SH 22 on FM 56. 

Officials say the fire was started by a car and has burned 60 acres. 

The fire is 50 percent contained. 

Westshore VFD, Clifton VFD, Morgan VFD, Meridian VFD, Valley Mills VFD, Lakeside Village VFD, Steele Creek VFD, Walnut Springs VFD, Texas Forest Service, US Forest Service, Heart of Texas Fire Corps, the American Red Cross and Bosque OEM.
