DPS increases reward for most wanted sex offender with Bell County ties

The Texas Department of Public Safety has increased a reward for a most wanted sex offender with Bell County ties from $3,000 to $8,000.

DPS said 62-year-old David Sauceda Medina has been wanted for indecency with a child, sexual contact, and failure to comply with sex offender requirements since January 2018. He was convicted in Travis County in 2010 for indecency with a child, sexual contact, involving a 7-year-old girl.

Medina also has ties to the Austin and Chicago areas and has been known to frequent homeless shelters.

He has been described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing about 200 pounds, with tattoos on his back, both arms and left hand.

The department is offering a reward up to $8,000 for information leading to his arrest. The U.S. Marshals Service is also offering a reward. All tips are anonymous.
