The Bryan Police Department said they arrested a man who failed to stop and render aid to his brother who died after a car accident early this month.
Police said they arrested Jesse Flores, the brother of the victim.
Police said just before 2 a.m., on May 2, officers found a Chevrolet pickup that had left the roadway and struck a tree on its passenger side.
The pickup was traveling north on Coulter Drive near E. William Joel Bryan Parkway before the crash.
Police said when they arrived, the driver had already left the scene, but the passenger identified as 51-year-old Pete Flores Jr. was found dead at the scene.
The Bryan Fire Department was called out to help remove the passenger from the pickup.
