Baylor will meet the four seed and 18th-ranked team in the country in Kansas in quarterfinal action on Friday at 9 a.m. (CT). With a win, the Bears would advance to play in the 3 p.m. semifinal on Saturday at 3 p.m. The championship match is set for 1 p.m. on Sunday.

The Bears are 16-12 following the regular season, compiling a 4-5 mark in Big 12 action. The team challenged itself all season long, registering a 6-10 mark against 16 ranked opponents.

Head coach Joey Scrivano, in his 16th season with the program, has his young squad trending up. Baylor, which is comprised of one senior, three sophomores and five freshmen, has won seven of its last nine matches. Freshman Livia Kraus brings a six-match singles win streak with her into the postseason. She has won a team-high 22 matches this year, including 15 in dual match action. Sophomore Jessica Hinojosa has also reached the 20-win threshold with 21 on the season. Sophomore Camilla Abbate paces the Bears with 18 dual match victories.

Baylor leads Kansas, 22-7, in the all-time series. The programs met once in the regular season, with the Jayhawks topping the Bears, 4-1, in Lawrence, Kan.

Scrivano has led the Bears to eight Big 12 Championship crowns in his tenure in addition to 11 regular season titles.
