A man was arrested for aggravated robbery in Elm Mott on Tuesday.

Deputies were called to a robbery at Heritage and Leroy Parkway involving two men.

The victim was operating as a recovery agent for a 2004 Green Ford F-150. The victim had recovered the vehicle and was in process of taking the vehicle to his business location.

While en-route with the truck, the suspect identified as 60-year-old Robert Donald Gilmore followed and pulled in front of the victim and forced him to stop and demanded him to get out of the car.

Gilmore then pointed a semi-automatic firearm at the victim and demanded him to release the truck.

The victim tried to show Gilmore the recovery paperwork and Gilmore once again threatened the victim.

The victim complied and the Gilmore took the truck and left.

Gilmore is being charged with aggravated robbery and is being held at the McLennan County Jail.
