Kids in Central Texas aren't waiting until Halloween night to get their candy fix.
More than 300 people have already shown up for the Harvest Time Revival Center's 3rd annual Trunk-or-Treat event.
Church members dressed up, decorated their cars and are handing out candy to our youngest citizens.
"Our nation needs some joy," said Daron Farmer, pastor at Harvest Time Revival Center. "So if we can make someone laugh by somebody dressing up silly or goofy or give some candy and make a kid smile, that's really what our whole purpose is."
The event started at 4 p.m. and will end at 7 p.m. on Oct. 29.
There's also food trucks, music and games for the whole family to enjoy.
This is a free event that's open to everyone in the community.
