Police are investigating a robbery at a local food mart.
Waco police said that the robbery happened at Johnny's Food Mart, located on 1824 Richter, at 11:05 p.m. Monday night.
Police said that a man entered the store and pointed a shotgun at the clerk, demanding money.
The suspect fled the store and into a four-door vehicle waiting on Daughtrey Avenue. He got away with cash and several packs of cigarettes.
The investigation is ongoing.
