McLennan County Sheriff's Office made 71 arrests during 'National John Suppression Initiative'

The McLennan County Sheriff's Office said they made several arrests for 'National Johns Suppression Initiative'.

The McLennan County Sheriff's Office said they made 71 arrest during the month of July. According to the Sheriff's Office, a former police officer and some Baylor students were among those arrested.

Most arrests were made for suspects trying to sleep with prostitutes, others arrests were for narcotics and firearm possession. 

McLennan County was the fifth county in the nation with most arrests surpassing New York, Los Angeles, Boston and Las Vegas. 

The National Johns Suppression Sting came from Chicago.
