There will be a boil notice for water in the City of Lorena following water maintenance starting on July 16.
The city will be conducting routine maintenance starting at 10 p.m. for about 4 to 6 hours. After, there will be a boil when the water is restored until it is confirmed safe for consumption.
The water service will be interrupted on Russell Street, Confederate Street, Lee Lane, Frontage Road from Brookshire Brothers to Confederate Street and The Village Place Apartments.

As of Tuesday, the boil order has been lifted.
