Three people are in jail after assaulting a man in Burleson County.
According to the Burleson County Sheriff's Office, an assault victim called to report the incident on June 15 from the Burleson St. Joseph CHI Emergency Room.
The victim told the investigator and sergeant that he had met with three individuals on June 15. The suspects and the victim traveled to a remote part of Burleson County where he was assaulted and his money and cell phone were taken.
Shanice Jefferson, 23, Christopher Parker, 23, Deondre Mack, 20, were arrested and charged with aggravated robbery, aggravated kidnapping, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
All three suspects are being held in the Burleson County Jail on bonds ranging from $130,000 to $150,000.
