The College Station Police Department said they are investigating an aggravated assault that left a man with a broken jaw.
On June 24 at around 2:11 a.m. College Station police responded to an aggravated assault call in the 200 block of University Dr.
The victim had gotten into a verbal altercation with three suspects. The victim was punched in the face by one of the suspects causing him to lose consciousness and fall into the roadway.
While the victim was unconscious the second suspect punched him in the face, again. The three suspects fled the scene but were later located and identified.
The victim was transported to the hospital. Once at the hospital it was learned the victim's jaw had been broken.
The case is still being investigated.
