Facing severe weather for the fourth time in the last five multi-game series in 2017, Baylor softball is shifting its weekend series at Oklahoma, postponing Friday evening’s 6:30 p.m. contest into a doubleheader on Sunday, announced Friday evening by the teams’ head coaches.
The Lady Bears and Sooners will play a single game on Saturday with no changes, as scheduled for 2 p.m. The two squads will then play the normally scheduled noon game on Sunday, with the postponed Friday evening game to immediately follow at approximately 2:30 p.m.
Per the Oklahoma athletics release, “Fans with tickets to Friday’s game may use them for the second game of Sunday’s doubleheader. Because the doubleheader involves separate tickets for each game, fans will need to exit the stadium between games.”
