An Elm Mott couple was able to escape their burning home safely Tuesday night without serious injuries.
A neighbor saw smoke coming from the home in the 100 block of Woody Ray Dr. around 7:00 p.m. and called 911.
Firefighters from several departments responded to the emergency call.
An ambulance came to the scene to treat the man who lived in the home. It's unclear whether he needed hospitalization. The woman who lives in the home was uninjured.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire and whether the home is a total loss or can be salvaged.
