The Baylor Bears lose to Kansas State 70-64 in the quarterfinals of the Big 12 Championship. Manu Lecomte led the team in points after missing the last two games with an injured ankle.
Kansas State went on a 7-0 run with about 12 minutes remaining in the 2nd half. Bears cut the deficit to 4 before Barry Brown hit a three pointer and was fouled by Nuni Omot for a 4-point play.
The Bears defense set the tone for the Bears to start the game. They forced the Wildcats into 4 turnovers, which included 2 shot clock violations. Offensively the Bears shot above 80 percent in the first 6 minutes of the game but then cooled off to end the half.
Bears fail to make the Big 12 semifinals for the first time since 2013.
