Baylor women’s basketball recruit Alexis Morris was named to the Naismith Trophy High School Girl’s All-American second team, the Atlanta Tipoff Club announced Wednesday.

It is the third national accolade for Morris, who was also selected as a Jordan Brand Classic and McDonald’s All-American.

Morris, a 5-6 point guard from Beaumont, Texas, averaged 31.1 points, 6.3 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 4.8 steals per game leading Legacy Christian Academy to its fourth consecutive district title and a 2017 state championship.

Morris is a three-time Texas Association of Parochial Schools 3A Player of the Year and a 2016 USA Today All-Texas second team selection. The five-star recruit is the No. 6 ranked point guard and the No. 18 player overall in her recruiting class.
