Baylor baseball entered the top 25 in five different polls on Monday. The Bears (11-1) are ranked No. 10 by Collegiate Baseball, No. 15 by USA TODAY/Coaches, No. 22 by D1Baseball, No. 23 by NCBWA and No. 24 by Baseball America.
Off to its second best start in program history (13-0, 1984), Baylor is ranked for the first time since being No. 21 and No. 27 by Collegiate Baseball and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA), respectively, on Feb. 14, 2015.
BU is ranked by the USA TODAY/Coaches Poll for the first time since being preseason No. 23 in 2013. The Bears have never been ranked by D1Baseball since its poll started in the 2014 season, and entered the Baseball America top 25 for the first time since ending the 2012 season as the No. 10 team.
