Bell County Sheriff's Department is hosting a swearing-in ceremony and New Year Celebration at Bell County Expo.
At midnight, Judge Jon Burrows will swear in Sheriff Eddy Lange. Lange will subsequently swear-in certified deputies.
The celebration starts at 8 p.m. and is free to the public but donations are accepted. In addition to the swearing-in, there will be live music and a DJ.
