The McLennan Community College men’s basketball team moved up one spot to 12th in the latest NJCAA Division I Poll released today.
South Plains (Texas), a Region V opponent for McLennan, remains in the top spot, followed by Hutchinson (Kansas) in second and Georgia Highlands in third. Salt Lake (Utah) and Moberly Area (Missouri) round out the top five. Odessa dropped from 16th to 18th this week and is the only other Region V school ranked. San Jacinto (sixth) and Tyler (22nd) are the only other Texas schools in the rankings.
The Highlanders are 15-0 on the season and will return to action Dec. 30, hosting Angelina at 6 p.m.
