Jonesboro falls to Borden County, 60-12

Jonesboro fell to Gail Borden County Wednesday at at Arlington’s AT&T Stadium, 60-12.

Jonesboro entered the game 14-0, and Gail Borden County was 13-1.

The Jonesboro Eagles held off Lometa, 40-32 in bi-district and came up from a 24-0 deficit to beat Union Hill in the final minutes of the semifinal game.

Texasfootball.com called Jonesboro RB/DE Robert Robuck a player to watch after he hit season highs in rushing yards, rushing touchdowns and tackles.

This was Jonesboro’s first title game appearance.
