A Waco woman got a birthday wish to remember from Bill Murray on Saturday at the Baylor v. Xavier men's basketball game.
Noah Wible said his grandmother, Maryellen Hook Wible, decided to celebrate her 94th birthday by attending her first Baylor basketball game with the family.
Noah said his grandmother was feeling down after the passing of her husband of 73 years and wanted to get out of the house.
Not only did she get to see the Baylor Bears win, but she got a special treat from Bill Murray. Murray attended the Saturday game against Xavier to support a family who is an assistant coach for the team.
As the Wible family walked out, Noah told Murray it was his grandmother's birthday. Not only did Murray take a picture with Maryellen, he sang happy birthday to her.
Noah said his grandmother is still excited from the Saturday surprise. She called him Sunday after church, saying she felt very special as many members of the church had also seen the video.
