Baylor volleyball (12-4, 0-0) will open its 16-match Big 12 conference season with a tough test, hosting the 23rd-ranked Kansas State Wildcats (12-2, 1-0) on Sunday, Sep. 25, at 2 p.m. in the Ferrell Center.
BU closed its nonconference earlier this week, winning back-to-back matches over UNT on Tuesday and SFA on Wednesday, pushing the team’s win streak to eight.
KSU holds the current Big 12-leading win streak, taking a 10 match win streak into Sunday’s match with the Bears.
The Wildcats carry a 27-14 advantage in the all-time series, including a narrow 11-9 mark for matches in Waco.
The Bears and Wildcats met in Waco to close the 2015 season, with BU sweeping KSU, 3-0.
Sunday’s match will be aired on FOX Sports Southwest Plus and FOX College Sports Pacific, with John Morris handling play-by-play and Kristen Bates offering color commentary.
