The Lady Bear Tip Off Club (TOC) invites all members and prospective members to the 17th annual Welcome Back Dinner Thursday, Oct. 6 at 6:30 p.m. (CT) in the Ferrell Center.
This fun, casual covered dish supper is an opportunity to visit with Lady Bear players and coaches. Head coach Kim Mulkey will introduce the players, which includes three newcomers (Natalie Chou, Lauren Cox and Calveion Landrum) and staff, and offer brief remarks about the upcoming season.
Admission is free, however, please bring a salad, vegetable dish, or dessert and bring serving utensils for your dish. Chicken tenders, rolls, and iced tea will be furnished. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m.
TOC membership forms will be available for those who have not yet joined, and season tickets will be available for purchase.
The Lady Bears open their regular season on Friday, Nov. 11 against Houston Baptist in the Ferrell Center. The tip time has yet to be announced. Two exhibition games precede the opener against Emporia State on Nov. 1 and Langston on Nov. 7. Both games tip off at 7 p.m. in the Ferrell Center.
