A motorcyclist died in the hospital after a police chase in Killeen.
Killeen Police identified the motorist as 20-year-old Fort Hood soldier Stacy Hardy.
Police said Hardy was involved in a police chase Friday night.
On a motorcycle, Hardy took off towards W.S. Young Drive when officers tried to stop him for speeding.
Police said he was going speeds over 100 miles per hour.
Hardy collided with a van that was making a turn. He was thrown off the bike and landed over 100 feet away from the collision.
Hardy was taken to Darnall Army Medical with life-threatening injuries and then airlifted to Baylor Scott & White.
The driver and passengers of the van were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police are still investigating the accident.
