Midway High School went into a soft lockdown Wednesday morning after a social media threat was reported.
Police and administrators investigated the credibility of the threat, and students were sent directly to classes for safety reasons.
Police have detained the suspect.
Midway ISD said in an email that safety is a priority for all MISD staff members. They said they were grateful for Hewitt PD’s immediate attention and response to the investigation.
