The Mart Police Department released the sketch of a man who tried to abduct a child back in August.
According to investigators, on Aug. 31, between the hours of 5 and 6 p.m., a girl was walking home from an after school activity when a man grabbed her arm and asked if she needed a ride.
She told him no, broke free from his hold, and was able to run away.
With help from the victim, The Texas Rangers and The Mart Police Department came up with the sketch. The Moody Police Department also assisted because they had a similar case pop up in October 2015.
The suspect is described as a white skinny man about 5 ft. 9 in. with salt and pepper colored hair and a scruffy beard. He was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and black shorts with a green stripe running up the side.
