First round matchups will be played on Friday, March 3, followed by quarterfinals on Saturday, March 4, and semifinals on Sunday, March 5. The final is set for Monday, March 6, the winner of which will receive the Big 12’s automatic bid to the NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Championship. Baylor has won the last six Big 12 tournament titles, earning its eighth overall in 2015-16.
The Big 12 Conference will also host the 2017 Women’s Final Four at the American Airlines Center in Dallas. Semifinals are scheduled for Friday, March 31, and the national championship game will be played on Sunday, April 2.
