Waco Police said that due to the frequency of crashes during the rain, they are shutting down Lake Shore drive starting at Bishop on Valley Mills Drive and Mt. Carmel.
Police said there were three accidents on the road yesterday. One of the accidents ended in injuries.
There was another single vehicle accident today with no injuries.
They said the closure may last a few days.
