Baylor Volleyball Releases 2016 TV Broadcast Schedule

WACO, Texas – Baylor volleyball will play seven televised games, including six in the Ferrell Center and one on the road, announced Friday by the program.

Signaling the growth of the sport in the conference and across the country, the Bears will set a new program record with seven televised games, including two to a national audience on ESPNU.

The two nationally televised games will include TCU in Waco on Oct. 5 and a road match with Iowa State on Oct. 19.

The remaining five games will be carried on the FOX family of networks, with exact channels to be announced at a later date.

BU opens its TV and conference schedule on Sept. 25, facing Kansas State at the Ferrell Center. The Bears then host Texas Tech on Sept. 28, Texas on Oct. 12, Oklahoma on Oct. 22, and Kansas on Nov. 26.

Baylor kicks off the 2016 season with the annual Green and Gold Scrimmage on Tues., Aug. 23 at 6 p.m., with the Baylor Invitational serving as the regular season opener that weekend, running Aug. 26-27 and featuring UTRGV, Prairie View A&M, and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
