WACO, Texas – Baylor soccer will have two home matches on TV through the FOX Sports networks and five on streaming radio via Baylor All-Access, the program announced Monday.
The two TV dates are Sept. 23 vs. Texas at 6 p.m. CT on FOX Sports Plus and Oct. 23 vs. Kansas at 1 p.m. on FOX Sports Southwest. Games that are slated for radio include the home opener on Aug. 26 vs. Purdue at 7 p.m., Aug. 28 vs. Incarnate Word at 5 p.m., Sept. 18 vs. Jackson State at 5 p.m., Oct. 14 vs. TCU at 7 p.m. and Oct. 21 vs. Iowa State at 7 p.m.
The Bears are coming off a 9-6-4 (4-1-2 Big 12, second place) campaign in 2015 in which their season ended in the semifinals at the Big 12 Championship. Baylor returns 22 players, including eight starters, while welcoming 10 newcomers for the 2016 season. BU begins preseason camp on Tuesday before hosting exhibition matches against the Houston Dash on Aug. 11 and Houston Baptist on Aug. 13. Baylor’s season opener is on Aug. 19 at Detroit Mercy.
