Police make arrest in Carl's Jr. armed robbery

The Woodway Department of Public Safety have arrested an armed robbery suspect that robbed a Carl’s Jr. in June.

DPS stopped Jermaine Hughes, 21, on a traffic stop and identified him as a suspect. 

Employees of the Carl’s Jr. at 4017 S. I-35 identified Hughes as the robber in a lineup.

The incident happened on June 13 after Hughes approached the counter, showed a gun to the cashier, and demanded money.

Hughes is being held at McLennan County Jail on $75,000 bond.
