A 55-year-old man was arrested after being accused of stabbing a relative on early Tuesday morning.
Michael Don Franklin faces aggravated assault and family violence charges.
Waco Police said he assaulted a 75-year-old family member after an altercation in a home located in the 1800 block of Seneca Drive at 1:15 a.m.
Franklin fled the scene after the stabbing but was located at another relative's home shortly after the assault.
The victim was transported to the Baylor Scott & White at Hillcrest Medical Center to be treated for non-life threatening stab wounds in the shoulder and abdomen, according to Waco Police.
