Slideshow: Severe weather in Central TX May 26,2016

An active weather pattern has moved back into Central Texas and that is increasing our rain chances for today and tomorrow. We will see a few rounds of rain over the next few days, so make sure to keep that umbrella close by!
Thursday morning: Showers/few storms pushing in from the west this morning. Some of the roads could be a little slick; use caution while driving today
Thursday afternoon: On/off rain continues--dry parts of the day, as well as wet ones. Some locally heavy rain likely and could lead to some flooding. Best chance will be in the south and southwest portion of the area
Thursday night: First round of rain moves out and we will see our second one moving in from the west again. Best chance for rain tonight, west of I-35
Friday morning: Thunderstorms across the area--some could be on the strong to severe side. Could make for a nasty & wet morning commute
Friday afternoon: If we see more storms in the morning, the chance for storms goes down for the afternoon. If morning storms hold off, the chance for afternoon storms will be higher. This part of the forecast will be tweaked, so make sure check back for the latest details.
Friday night: Rain pushes out and we should be dry! It will be a nice evening and that nice weather continues straight on into the holiday weekend!
